I asked a QUESTION... and then a few posts later I qualified it as a half-ANSWER. There was no "misinformation".
On a side note, I cannot believe how many non-keyed interfaces there are on the Amiga, a small notch 3/4 of the way along and voila, no chance of "blowing up" issues.
