As for the book, it is very good. Although I feel that the 1989-1995 years were rushed through. (IIRC Commodore UK held out until 1995?).
I definitely agree the last bit was rushed. It took something like six or seven chapters to get to the VIC-20! Suddenly the last short chapter or two covers the A500+, the A1200, the CDTV and the CD23. But yeah it's a pretty good read, although it makes you angry reading about the idiocy of the people who eventually brought the company down
