Roll eyes (sarcastic) Infogrames still in the red - but at least they could minimize losses

In the fiscal year that ended on March 31st, 2005, the french-american video game manufacturer Infogrames Entertainment has significantly lost more sales than in the previous year. In comparison to 2004, the revenues receded by 14 percent to €602.1 million. The company, however, could limit the net loss from €31.5 million (in 2004) to €25.3 million (current). Infogrames could raise the operating assets from €2.6 million to €22.2 million.

In spite of everything, according to the company's annual report, the costs for interest payable completely left no reasonable chance for actual operating assets eventually. According to reports from the company's side, the payables have been reduced from €313 million to €189 million. Since 2003, Infogrames Entertainment has been operating under the name of the video games pioneer, ATARI, on the game market. The trademark rights for ATARI were already reserved at the time of the acquisition of Hasbro Interactive's computer game division back in 2001.
