Yes but the question was had this version of Turrican 2 been released around A1200 times would it had an "impact".
I would say no, because there was actually some Amiga OCS successful hits converted to AGA and none was very impactful sadly. People were expecting some technological advance for the A1200 games. Something that was a clear step above OCS gaming library.
Just check the reviews of these AGA enhanced versions. Most of them were reviewed as just revamped version of OCS titles. For instance, Exile AGA is vastly enhanced in comparison of the OCS version, yet it was even mentionned in some reviews to buy the cheaper budget OCS version (or stay with it if you already have a copy).
That doesn't alter its quality of course. Just another What If ? hypothesis.
