The above is one of the very few correct statements in your whole post.
It's only logical that the optimisation point moves up with existing technology. You can buy CPU's today that are more than 8 times (!!!) as fast as yours.

If you want to use later versions of WinUAE without sound stuttering and frameskipping ruining your experience, then upgrade to more recent hardware. It's not the WinUAE developers fault that your hardware is outdated.

Exodus, hopefully you have a new PC now that runs WinUAE just fine.
