Something very interesting happened while modding a Sony MPF920 E131 Floppy Drive last night!
Perhaps, it will be of interest to people who love the classic Amiga floppy, but are annoyed by its constant "heartbeat"!
According to the classic scheme, I changed what was necessary, only the 0-ohm element from JC30 I did not remove it, but moved it to JC31 (instead of making a bridge there)!
The effect is, the floppy works flawlessly on the Amiga 1200, X-copy and its derivative applications work wonderfully with it, but it stops after 2 cycles per check with a fully loaded Workbench 3.2.1 - stops "thumping", but is waiting for the floppy always!
The Amiga boots floppies through it perfectly...
