What if the altercations made by Micro$oft to IE were decided through a public voting poll? Maybe there were (insane) people out there who demanded that plugins be removed and other pointless shit. If this is true, then they are the biggest mindfucks around.
My guess as to why IE is extremely popular is probably because Micro$oft heavily advertised their products (and Windows in general) around the world whereas Netscape, Opera, Mozilla and countless other web browsers did not do any promotion. This most likely means that people will only consider touching anything in life if it's heavily hyped. Fuckwits.
