We have seen working examples of it in action in some respects-I recall when in the space of about an 12-18mth period (in the Amiga days),of interviews with programmers like Peter Molyneaux as their relative groups expanded alongside their roles-I seem to recall Molyneaux saying how the expanded responsibilities/meetings etc., & company management aspects were all things he didn't really have much of a clue/interest in at the time,& how it took away from his first love of actual hands on game design-it seemed little wonder that he eventually grew tired of the by then EA owned entity & branched away to begin again.

In a lot of ways though, it seems like he did take some hard learned lessons from it with the relative success of Lionhead Studios in comparison.
