Just to clear up a few things. Epic Marketing UK (not to be mistaken with Epic Interactive Germany) were almost as dodgy a retail outfit and Amiga publisher as Alive Mediasoft. Epic developed such a bad reputation that they changed their name to V-Direct, who are responsible for these websites:

http://www.amigagames.co.uk/

http://www.amigautils.co.uk/

http://www.100PercentAmiga.org/

As pointed out in this thread, Amigastuff.co.uk have sold pirate copies of Amiga software to customers (including members of this board). V-Direct also operates on Ebay and have ripped off buyers there as well judging from their feedback.

If Epic Marketing were involved in the publication of the Amiga Classix CDs, then it is quite likely that they included something on them (whether it be a game or kickstart rom) that they didn't get permission for.
