And when the BIOS loads an OS, via the normal method (e.g. boot sector on IBM PC floppy), when the BIOS passes control to the OS/boot sector code, it could pass, in a register or on the stack, the address in memory where the SysBase-like BIOS functions are located.
Wouldn't this be a universal solution for all computers? Or at least, future ones?
