It used romdisk device and CD32 emulator on rommed disk. Nothing more is needed than Amiga 1200 and CD-drive.

I set global fast ram on. Then bypass that menu as it auto creates config for each disc you put in. Mine just shows CD32 screen if CD32 disc in drive.
However we are talking about it having Cdrom access on boot, like the floppy and hdd. The way you and I are doing it, need floppy or hdd to mount cdrom and boot.
I spose you could setup disk image to do it all, the have config with lowlevel and nonvolatile libraries.
