Yeah there's something to that. Certain 9200 256MB cards are configured as 128MB+128MB, and you only get 128MB, that is a feature which predated the whole Sonnetlib project. You can get around that by the flashing the ROM on the Radeon card with one that has a contiguous block, I actually did that myself when I got my first Radeon 9200 256MB. Then years later I bricked the card trying to flash it with a Mac BIOS, in that it doesn't want to reflash now to any BIOS.
But even 128MB cards take 256MB of space is the point. Not sure about 64MB 9200s if they even exist or how much PCI space they consume.
