This is a *wild* guess because I have never ran amiTCP, but....

Depending on where in the startup this file needs to be executed... you could of make an icon for it (with IconX as default tool, and NOWAIT as tooltype), and shove it in WBStartup.

This would bid the window farewell.. But you can only do this if you are able to start AmiTCP only after you loaded everything in startup sequence.

In which point of teh startup process have you put the "startnet" sentence? If you put it in user-startup, I think you can move it into WBStartup (then again, if it was stuck, you wouldn't be able to load workbench).

If you put it at the end of startup-sequence, did you remember to add ENDCLI after it?
