I recently purchased an
Amiga 2000A (Rev 4/Germany) and hadn't yet had the chance to unbox and open it up. Superficially it was really nice, and I had seen some odd-angle shots of the inside showing it was nice, but I figured I'd share with the group as it was an interesting find for me. On opening the box I found an MS-DOS disk and a Kickstart disk, got a chuckle and kept on.

What's in the box? I was a bit startled to see the 1MB card and the big slotted card to the left that I didn't recognize, but saw that it was wired up to the 5 1/4" floppy drive:

1MB Ram Expansion in the MMU slot - supposedly won't work if I shove a Vampire V2+ in? Not filled in, it appears, but TMS4256-15NL not hard to find...

Let's take a closer look at that big card, the

Ah, that explains the disks I found! Anyways, pretty clean Amiga and I'm sure I'll have fun with it; just wanted to share. Maybe not as interesting as some of the cool mods and upgrades you all post, but hey!
