Can I add to this:

Just got a Towered A1200 (Amiga Tech) which has a PCB and then connects to a Sony MPF920E drive. Now, I know Eyetech sell an EZDF0 interface for using Sony drives but the PCB is marked AmigaTech.

Am I gonna have trouble loading games?

I kinda like using a PC FDD as if it goes wrong (and I burned one in my A3000) its only £5 to replace. So I bought two, one for use and one for spare.
