It might be a faulty accelerator.
Where did you get it from? How old is it?
I had same problems with my ACA 1221ec and after an awful lot of discussion and fault finding with the supplier it came down to a faulty card.
I upgraded to the ACA 1233n and runs sweet as a nut now.
