Amazing art and talent, and amazing patience drawing a stroke by stroke, creating these beautiful blending on the owl.
Did you tried using translucent option? I use it as an opacity (mainly with Ham mode), and it gave me mixed results, but I am generally happy. Sure, Ham have artifacts, but blendings colors is (for me) much easier.

here on Deluxe Paint tips and tricks, and I posted few of my amateurish paintings there. I'd be glad to learn some tips from you how to improve.
I have few more paintigs unfinished on both my real Amiga 500, and Winuae Aga, and you definitely inspired me to finish them.
