unfortunately after looking hi and low I can't find my original

I did ask my brother who remembers the game and said he had the same frustration at not being able to finish it.

I wonder if it's something simple like the RTC date being used for the RNG - maybe the game was playtested on an unexpanded A500 without clock and nowadays we all have RTCs (including in WinUAE) and there is an error using the value from the system time. I'm keen to see if this is the case so will see if I can find out if I get the time soon.
