thanks so much for your help guys and Akira I think you are correct in some of the things you say, in that I am trying to run before I can walk and I dont even know why i want to expand the hardware capabilities at this time (i guess i just like the idea of tinkering with it etc).

I will save Solidcore's advice for when I am ready and in the meantime get to burning some CD's.

Have forsaken the gymnasim this evening to spend some time figuring out the ISO's and burning etc so lets get on with that! yay!
