Regardless, the answer is: there is a reason for WHDLoad patch updates, and more frequently than most, it is to fix nasty bugs, improve compatibility and performance. So yeah many patches have things that are wrong with them.
If you are fine with whatever you have, then why even wonder?
Personally the only reason I look for an updated patch is if I notice issues. You haven't. So, keep them.
