I saw the PAL machines were a better buy for the larger game library so I went for it. A bit more expensive to pick up all the adapters needed in the US but very worth it in my opinion.

I plan on setting up an external Gotek as my unit is already wired to support booting from DS1 with a toggle switch on the floppy controller. It came with an external 5.25" drive which is interesting. My local Goodwill store actually had two sealed boxes of 5.25" floppies. Couldn't believe it.

The hardest part is figuring out where it'll live. These machines take up a bit more space than modern desks were designed for, plus the PVM is anything but compact.
