FPGA would die in few seconds if you connect it directly to Amiga so yes there is "protection" on each I/O that is connected to Amiga. Ok but the sidecar can assert BR and expect a BG and then return BGACK? Or does the A500 slot never get a BG? beware some amiga hardware misbehaves and just asserts BGACK anyway. :/
