^^ this. Seen this exact thing in videos and the cause was dried up cap.

AmigaStore.eu sells modded PC floppy drives that can be installed into the Amiga 500. They cut and modded the eject button so it will fit in the Amiga 500.

Or you could of course try to repair your drive.
