@S0ulA55a551n. Interesting. In my school the CPC was mostly owned by middle class families, no doubt believing it would be a more suitable machine for productivity and education. Perception vs reality? I don't think the C64 even tried to come across as anything other than a games machine, in marketing terms anyway.
