yeah i know what you mean. i started when i was a kid with atari 2600 then went on to c64, nes, master system, snes, megadrive/genesis and so on until now.
i'm 38 and been gaming since i was about 5 years old and i love retro stuff aswell as new games. i dabbled in the amiga a little when it was a fairly new machine but from what i remember it was kinda expensive back then and you had to know where to get your cracked games so i only got to play some on some older friends amiga.
i got my own amiga 500 around 1997 but it was harder to track down cracked games than ever and the internet was terrible then so i didn't even get the internet until a few years later. but the few games i remember playing i liked.
of course years later we have great emulators and great game sets online and a great community such as EAB and i'm now getting to play some of these gems for the first time and loving it.
