About this discussion, I'll flip it on the head:
I think it is possibly easier to start something on the Amiga, but much harder to complete or be satisfied with. The C= 64 has absolute limits in both look and size that all interested parties know and the trick is to get as close to them or make it seem you passed them, but on the Amiga the sky is the limit - when is it good enough?
Better tools has made it possible to do C= 64 development speedy enough to be comparable with commercial releases in a short enough time, while the next Sword of Sodan will probably not be done any faster nor better(or even as good as) than the original.
