Mind you all - the origin of this discussion was "Let us make AmigaOS mainstream again!!", and I pointed out that noone _want_ to see a system as wide open as AmigaOS gain popularity. Then the argument circulated back to "but we do not need security - noone will attack us, because we are not mainstream!". The discussion pretty much was derailed by a an argument about semantics, but whatever. The original idea here was, how could one create an operating system that is secure and modern, yet still be AmigaOS. For me, OSX is pretty much already there, except the UI is not how I want it.
