I got an email from Adam Lowe (David's Son) a while ago

Quote:
"Yes I did sleep in a bedroom surrounded by my Dad's Speccys, C64's, Amigas, Atari St's plus countless other bits of recording equipment. I actually remember the day each game came out and thought it was unbelievable.
How cool must that have been?

David wasn't just a musician, he was a ground breaking programmer. One of the first adopters of the AY chip in the Spectrum 128. High Quality samples on the Atari STfm AY.

And he was possibly the first musican to bring us studio quality versions of his music. Remember the cassette tapes which came with Starglider and Carrier Command?
