I bought several from the 'working list' but its a lottery as to what chipset is inside as not all will work.

Also some work if using PCMCIA as opposed to IDE...

Mine did this. I just put it on as fast as possible in WinUAE and loaded to Workbench and just did reset. Has been fine ever since. Not sure if anything gets removed from the drive in this process.
