I am doing the Wipe Out patch as can be seen in the WIP on the WHDLoad site. Except for cleaning up the code and creating the install script there is not much left to do.

The way the protection has been implemented in both games didn't help to delay the distribution at all. The games could as well have been sold unprotected, wouldn't have made any difference.

Unlimited lives = unlimited lives... If you get fired the game is over, you don't lose lives in that case! It's the way the game has been made and the cheat doesn't change that behaviour!

The cheat will only enable unlimited lives, nothing else! If you lose because the bad guys stole all your waste you'll get a game over screen.

The 1993 release has nothing to do with this update, both are different games with the same name. 2000 A.D./Logic System version is 100% asm, this one is AMOS. Besides, the author of v1.5 himself...
