R-type does not run at 50 fps on Amiga, probably no more than 25 fps so even if 2 pixels per frame it is only 50pixels per second.

Yes but it is assumed the Amiga has booted. CardReset avoids mechanical card removal after OS got initialized but cannot solve the reset bug by itself.

Also cheap because USB floppy drives cost around 15 euros.
