Tried latest beta and there are no missing frames now! But only if you are not using savestates. And now it also adds a frame used 10 frames back plus have the missing frame. So the fix actually made...

Anyway, your video has a frame missing between 146-147.

Tried WinUAE 2.5 with the settings you provided on three different machines and it still skip a video frame. Could not hear any pops in this version though. But need to do more tests.

No pops when not using savestates. But always video frame drop no matter if using savestates or not. Hard to tell if it is the first frame that is missing or the last one.

Yeah, this thread is about two different things now.

1. AVI's can split sometimes. But this happens rarely (at least for me)

2. First frame in AVI recording is not captured from WinUAE 2.4.x....

Yes, first frame is not recorded. Not sure if fixing that will fix the audio pitch issue completely. Think also the second frame has pitched audio.

This problem has been since WinUAE 2.4 but have never bothered to report it. WinUAE does not record the first frame when load a savestate. The sound glitch has been there for a long time but at least...
