I bought a logitech MK295 wireless mouse and keyboard combo (looks to be 27 UKP) as it only needs 1 usb port for the wireless dongle. Mouse and keyboard work well.

you're correct and yes if you access the amiberry save state config files and add in "use_gui=yes' under the 'common' settings then you can press F12 and have full access to the AmiBerry config...
