The last drive setting doesn't matter when you add CD-ROMs, it is used when the driver scans for partitions to mount at boot up. You can access and SCSI ID later after the machine is booted.

Why not make a 1MB ROM though, since everyone will be using at least 27c400 chips. Saves you taking out wb.lib, the concatenation step and you have a lot of room left over for activities.

2MB is the maximum amount of chip on any production Amiga. It is worth getting 2MB if you intend to use the OS, but 1MB will get you started and will be enough if you intend to mainly play games.
