I've tried emulators on Wii and wasn't impressed....

I've tried emulators on Wii and wasn't impressed. Like ransom1122 says , best thing you can do is get Nintendont on it with a fat memory stick full of Gamecube games.
I'm kind of obsessed with GT...

Really nice Speccy effort there, played through it a few nights ago and really enjoyed it. The duck mechanic works particularly well.
Maybe in the Amiga version ease the player into it a bit more...

There's a lot of problems with the artwork on close inspection, but it does the job of inviting you to consider the game as entertaining, and something you'd like to play.
It's not laughably awful...

Yeah I don't really get this. I thought the whole point of POWER was to run AIX and all the associated enterprise level things that brings.
Maybe this is to encourage more linux involvement.

R-Type final is a really nice game in a lot of ways and I enjoyed it a lot.
The framerate issues take the shine off it quite a bit. Gradius V never really grabbed me.
No that it isn't the better...

Laptop drives were so expensive, no doubt the A1200 could have been a serious computer for a lot more people. A1200 owners could have user PC...

People are saying hard disks weren't expensive, but a reasonably sized amiga hdd really was.
20mb desktop 3.5 inch drives may have been coming down in price at the time, but laptop 2.5 inch drives...

I don't miss those Pentium 2 cpu-on-a-cartridge set ups! The Pentium or P3 just seems like a nicer build. But the P2 is more compatible with quite a few dos games if I recall. Good choice for a lot...
