the A600 is a 2 layer board (there are those who say 4. they are WRONG!).. a bad recap can rip traces and interrupt alot of powersupply..
so check traces around caps etc.

I have never seen a rev6 cpu that cannot go 80+ anyway.. in my Warp 1260 I used a freescale from 2008. it however cannot go faster than 95.. so we can smash the myth that freescales clocks better...
