It's faster with the blitter than with the cpu, for example my OCS c2p is blitter only. You might need to have a scrambled chunky buffer for optimal performance though.

Supraturbo is 68000-based, so the 16bit memory bus isn't a bottleneck for it. To be able to use a 020 to it's full potential you need 32bit memory connected to it.

Like you said, it's the CPU doing all the hard work here, AGA is actually a huge bottleneck on 040/060-machines. So no, AGA is not fast.
