Correct Alex...it's 7 wires on this chip for stealth mode, but it's only a handful of games that use the modchip detection as this was only added in the last days of psx game develpment.

Sometimes and this goes for any cdrom/dvdrom based games console...it's not just a case of cleaning the lense. The way they are designed is the laser comes along horizontaly and hits a 45 degree...

BTW it's fine to have PAL driver in the DEVS:MONITORS directory during setup as i did to keep the dual display.

Mediator and AHI sound query

I've set up my Mediator and SoundBlaster 128 combo ok...but is it only some things that play through AHI? By this i mean it plays mp3's superbly through the 128 but if i play demo's or games do they...

On my mediator for the 1200, i follwed that guide step by step and the Voodoo setup went perfectly.
I don't think it's a hardware fault as Pcinfo is listing your cards ok.
What version MMCD do you...
