Usually the password pages in the manuals also had some kind of Xerox protection.
or the password procedure asked for page 'x' line 'y' word 'z', requiring you to have the whole manual.

USB to PS/2 adapters expect the mouse to sense them and have the mouse alter it's protocol to ps/2 standards.
Stuffing in a usb hub between these two will hinder this mode of operation.

- Clipping: as far back as my winuea.exe logs go there is the problem that the bottom row of pixels gets clipped. this can be demonstrated by moving mouse...
