I wouldn't use Inkey$ for reading a file, but in case the debugger is bothering you, you can turn it off and on for specific blocks of source code. The commands are Runerrsoff/Runerrson.

I have read that using csync instead of h/vsync in your cable leads to smoother scrolling, but at the cost of going into the menu and selecting YUV mode each time the monitor is started.

I run my 600 with Furia for days on end. The heat sink is already enormous. Don't see why you would need an additional fan unless the new batch has got CPUs with lower tolerances.

Both games are perfect examples of bad game design. Even though they are adventure games, both end in action scenes requiring perfect reflexes, to be executed with a 280 dpi mouse.
