Just tried it with my A1200 connected to a Sony Trinitron CRT TV. Of course it flickers, but it's playable though. Looks geogerous. Will try it via my LG OLED+OSSC later. :)

Simple black/greyish lines? Is a mask possible, similar to Trinitron? OSSC combines horizontal and vertical scanlines to that effect.

True. This happen via Freesnyc in other emulators too. No machine output exacly 50.00 oder 60.00Hz. Some emuators allows you to set it to integer fps though.

Just tried Beast WHDLoad v2.5 with the latest WinUAE. Freesync on/Vsync completely off@144Hz = smooth scrolling, stable fps. Lagless Vsync enabled @50Hz is the same.

Could be related to your sound driver issues you talked about. I don't notice micro-stutter in newer WinUAE versions, fps are rock solid at 50 all the time.

Vice GTK is fixed now, it has a 50fps menu option too. Denise, Hoxs64 and micro64 are smooth in 50fps too.

Look pretty normal to me. As i said. Games with real fullscreen, without any black bars/black frame, are rare on the Amiga. Try i.e. Superfrog, which fills nearly the whole screen.

There are various threads about it. Stingray was working on a patch years ago. Some day he will release it. For a temporary fix, use a very old WHDLoad version. It had luck with v10.0-12.0 iirc.

I know that TinyLauncher kills itself and clears the ram completely after the slave file is started. Would assume that the most WHDLoad launchers do it the same way.
