I can't speak to everything that has been going on here, but I ordered some bits and pieces off Amigakit for the first time last week and they arrived this week. It was a smooth process.

If you bide your time, you can pick up a 1200 for a fairly reasonable price. That would be in the £100-£200 range. But you have to be patient. I see the split as my 500 as a games machine and my 1200...

My current solution is to use my compact flash...

My current solution is to use my compact flash card on my Amiga and my PC. On the PC, WinUAE will see it and I transfer everything I need to it. I can then make floppy discs if I need to on my Amiga....

I just finished watching Nostalgia Nerd's video on his Spectrum Next, and I must say they have done a sterling job with that project. Packaged nicely with lovely manuals and the hardware is gorgeous....

Depending on the PVM and the addon boards plugged in, you can have loads of options. Looking at the brochure you provided, you have RGB/Component and YC. They should be BNC connectors for the former...
