I would prefer, when available, a surely cheaper and not slower Blizzard 1220/4 68EC020 28 MHz.

I had a similar problem with A1200. The drive worked, but when the floppy was out it sometimes randomly made buzzing noises. I fixed it on replacing the power floppy cable.

Yes, that printer is connected in the same time to Amiga via parallel and to PC via USB. This is a black & white laser/led printer and it's very fast with Amiga.
