It is the "statefile" config key. Can also be done with commandline "-cfgparam statefile=x", but it only works if the file already exists. Or at least did the last time I tried.

Indeed not a core issue but a RetroArch issue with this particular platform. Windows etc hide OS mouse just fine, so most likely it simply isn't implemented.

At least that is what the core does if a CD is launched while "Global Boot HD" option is enabled, which makes it start A1200+CD instead...
