ProPack does support decrunching over the source data. CrunchMania decruncher allows that too. ByteKiller (at leat the orginal version) was never made to support that.

The original Vroom game only works properly with a standard A500 configuration (i.e. 68000 CPU) as the code uses a lot of self-modifying code which doesn't work properly on faster CPUs.

Yes, the data file is present on disk 2 as well. This has more to do with with minimizing disk changes than smart protection for me though.

Wepl clearly stated he doesn't want the cheat so I respect his wishes as he made the original patch. And the cheat is easy to look-up on HOL or similar sites anyway.

The high pitched beep sounds are caused by CPU dependent delay loops in the sample players. I have just fixed these. I may add an option to enable the built-in cheat as well but have not decided yet....
