hey mate,
sounds like faulty hardware to me. took me quite a while to figure out. If you can, try again with a known good USB Stick or Gotek Drive. please report back if you solved the issue

as it turns out the two displays in my possession are defective so I thought those SCK OLEDs simply don't work at all. thanks for your answers

The FF wiki just says that the marking of the pin...

yeah, same here. I am not sure if the effort will lead to a feature which is used often. Selecting the disks from the HxC file selector is fast and easy.

Good to know... I have done it like this on 5 drives in total and had no problems, but will take this into account for the next ones. better safe than sorry ☺️

I wouldn't suggest this, mate. those 1TB sticks are fake and somehow tricked to show that they have a large capacity. the truth is... they don't.

to get more technical - why do dome games need the RDY signal...
