The B2000 was never supplied with the CPU slot ranger board. I have never gotten one to work in a B2000 motherboard either, but that might just be because I've had faulty ranger boards. :-)

No problem. Yes, the automatic scripts and novice mode default to DH0: but you can call it whatever you wish, if you go to intermediate or higher.

It is not very involved for a rev6. Just install the chips + capacitors, cut jp7 (might not even be necessary since you have nothing in the trapdoor), toggle jp2.

Cheers, I might try different RAM modules too. You wouldn't have needed to slice up the SD card if you use a Phase 5 scsi board + pfs3, it will gladly do TD64 and support up to around 106GB with ease.

Yep, the name does not correspond to the speed of the memory, only the location in the address space.. Other systems have full speed "slow ram" as well, such as the A2000A with the original CPU slot...

I don't believe this is beta, it's release 0.84. In open source projects, 1.00 is usually reserved for "feature completeness", but releases generally should have all the implemented features working....
