I believe what was messing up here was WinUAELoader and not the .uae config file.

If you want the best; Maximus Arcade + WinUAE Loader. WinUAE Loader works as a wrapper for WinUAE which you call from the Maximus Arcade frontend. Looks awesome and it supports video previews etc....
