Quickly reasoning, you just mirrored the pinout by plugging in female <-> female with a pin header in between. You need a bit of IDC cable that has male connectors on both ends to put in between.

It is also possible to just have 1.3 inside a directory on your boot partition and redo the assigns to point there.

The 3.9GB thing is a DOpus feature most likely. PFS3AIO is the only one that is still maintained for 68k, so I would definitely recommend it.

Since you're running 3.9, you can use the info command...

It will be rather difficult to upgrade the A2000A past 512kB of Chip, as it has the old skinny Agnus.

You would have to design a new PCB that carries a fatter Agnus and the additional RAM.
