I tried installing fresh as well as just just updating the slave, but both ways still give me the locked error. :(

If it matters, I'm trying to save through the game menu with the cd32 RWD button.

Back in the 90s, he created a lot of "unofficial" fixes (I believe the CDDA was one of them) and sent out a few over IRC. Unfortunately, all the media I stored these on are long gone! :(

Although I had a lot of fun playing Superfrog, my biggest gripe with it was the NTSC version was just rebranded PAL. I don't think they did ANY conversion for it.

Those compilation discs are usually filled with data, same with audio cds. Maybe the problem is related to being able to read the disc properly...
